Diversity Out of Simplicity: One Dress of Many Frames

Some of the women I meet wonder just what it’s like to be in front of the camera. They ask how artistic we could possibly get and how many different looks might we be able to capture? Lauren (the beautiful lady in all the photos) showed me a exquisite gold and green dress that she owned. I thought it was breathtaking the moment I saw it and with that we spent an afternoon capturing her in as many ways possible. If you want to see all the looks you can pull off with just one dress then get ready to be inspired. I’ve named this series One Dress of Many Frames.

Artistic Portrait Photography: A Meaningful Gift for that Special Woman

If you’ve been with or known someone long enough then you’ve surely had times when you didn’t know what to give them for her birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, graduation, or other achievement/special occasion. She probably doesn’t need you to buy another charm on her bracelet either. If you want to give her a gift that goes beyond the longevity of jewellery and the meaningfulness of a handmade trinket, then give her an experience that will show her how beautiful she is!

What is Modern Portrait, Glamour, and Boudoir Photography

Here at Made by Ten we like to do a little bit of everything. It keeps us on our heels and although we have a distinct style, we aren’t afraid to veer from it to make great images. If you take a look at our inspiration examples in “Women in Art” dropdown you’ll see we have “Modern Portrait”, “Modern Glamour”, and “Modern Boudoir”. While we consider all of our work “modern”, these stand out the most as a departure from “traditional” or what we like to call…”old”. Are these “modern” versions right for you? P.S. It makes a special Valentine’s Day gift!

Mia Parese / LaSalle College Graduation Fashion Show / Gallerie 345 / Toronto

I was asked to be one of 3 photographers at the LaSalle College Graduation Fashion Show this year by the designer behind the Mia Parese name, Mayle Morales Almeida. There were quite a few fashion design graduates and their works were quite diverse. I’ll be sharing photos from those designers in future posts.Made-by-Ten-Mia-Parese-Runway-LaSalle-College-Galleria-345-Toronto-24
