Does your busy lifestyle leave you feeling like you and your significant other need to figure out how to find each other again? I find this to be especially true when you’ve been together for a long while. There’s one particular way I find I can reconnect with my wife. If you feel like you can no longer see your husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend then this is for you!
CLOSE YOUR EYES AND GET YOUR CUDDLE ON
It seems strange that I’d tell you to close your eyes to be able to “see” your significant other again, right?
The point is that to see someone you first need to “see” them in another way first to anchor you. So close your eyes and curl up together. You may not fit together like two peas in a pod, but just enjoy it and feel the curves of your bodies conform to each other.
Wrap your arms around each other and feel the warmth of each other. Focus on the way your hands fit along the curves of your backs and sides. Feel comfort in the way your heads fit into the crooks of your necks and face.
It’s truly a beautiful feeling. Just make sure to keep your eyes closed at the beginning. Eventually you won’t be able to help but look at each other.
Even after it’s all over you’ll look at each other differently. I’m not going to lie to you and say that this affect will last forever, but that’s actually what makes it so great. You can slide onto a couch together whenever you need to and get your cuddle on.
Feel free to add some romantic music (that you both like!) into the mix. If you can play “your song” so much the better!
Here’s a recent song suggestion that is absolutely beautiful Ed Sheeran – How Would You Feel (Paean)):
