Looking for some Spring lifestyle fashion photoshoot inspiration for 2017? Yesterday was the official start of Spring for us in Toronto (north of the equator), but it didn’t feel like it. Today, on the other hand is a beautiful day for an outdoor photoshoot. Spring is one of the best times in terms of temperatures in the Greater Toronto Area for photoshoots because it’s not too hot and not too cold. Here’s some photo inspiration for you!
I don’t want to overwhelm you so here are four photoshoot styles/themes you can do this Spring:
NATURE FASHION PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT
For the woman who loves nature, this is a great choice. You don’t need anything too fancy. Just throw on something comfortable, relaxed, and trendy.
Head over to your favourite piece of paradise and be one with nature! A natural, peaceful expression and pose work best with this kind of photoshoot.
MAGAZINE STYLE FASHION PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT
Looking like you belong in a magazine is always a great feeling and experience! Put on some beautiful designer clothes and get your hair and makeup done like a model!
This style takes a bit more time to prepare for because you want the location to be perfect. You’ll need to find a place that has great lighting and that you can mold to create the type of look you’d see in magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Fashion Magazine.
The best look for this kind of photoshoot includes piercing eyes, soft lips, and a vibe that really pulls in the viewer.
A DREAMY ROMANTIC LIFESTYLE PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT
If you love Harlequin books, the The Twilight Saga, or the Fifty Shades series then this is probably something you’ve always wanted.
Go for a dreamy, romantic style photoshoot. You know you want to! ;)
To make images with a dreamy theme really stand out, you’ll have to give off a look of reflection; as if you were alone. You can look at the camera, but a look down and away or even with your eyes closed would really pull this look together.
SIMPLE AND BOLD FASHION LIFESTYLE PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT
If all of that is just too much for you and you want it to just be about you and the outfit then this is for you.
Use a solid background or something simple that adds to the look, but doesn’t overpower your look.
With this kind of theme you can really experiment with a ton of looks. Mix up all the different kinds of poses and expressions mentioned in the previous examples. It’s quite open ended and you’re free to really make this photoshoot your own!
All the inspiration you’ve seen in this article are in and around the Greater Toronto Area. There’s always some place you can be photographed near your home and hopefully this inspires you to take it on this Spring 2017! Go get a photographer and make your dreams come true!
