Here’s a brief behind the scenes of the Girl on Fire art photography piece. Simple, elegant, and realistic looking! Want to see all the pieces that make up this beautiful work of art?
DOUBLE EXPOSURE
This artwork is actually made from two photographs. One is of a beautiful woman that you’ve seen before. The other (believe it or not) is of a smokestack in downtown Toronto. Don’t worry, there wasn’t a huge fire in Toronto!
By skillfully and very carefully matching the two images together the images seamlessly come together. The final result is art that looks like she’s like a phoenix on fire.
It’s incredibly beautiful and packs a visual punch.
TWEAKING THE FLAMES
The “flame” image shown below had to be molded around the shape of her body to give it the appropriate affect.
Imagine having artwork of yourself like this in your home or office?! So did we take your breathe away or are you just yawning? We’d like to know so leave a comment below if you love or hate it!
