Changing Women’s Lives Through Art Photography

I never thought I’d be changing women’s lives and although I had a passion for photography it was mainly in nature, landscape, and personal travel. Little did I know that my love for photography and my understanding of women would lead me to where I am today.

LEAVING ONE FOR A WHOLE LOT MORE

Quitting my job wasn’t an easy choice for me. There were a lot of bills to be paid! Strangely enough it was from my career in engineering that I learned that there was no “best time” to do something. Life is far too short to be spending it doing something your heart isn’t into.

For some strange reason I thought photography would be a great business to get into so that’s the road I headed. The industry of just being a photographer is an saturated one. Technology is so advanced that anyone can pick up a camera and make a decent image.

Creating a business with the medium being photographic artistry is another thing all together. It is the basis of what we deliver to our clients now. Little did I know I would be leaving one job and taking on a whole lot of roles. Alas, that is entrepreneurship!

CHANGING WOMEN’S LIVES

To create a business (and one that truly changed people’s lives) I had to go deeper. In the end I figured out that I could change women’s lives with my camera. Women saw themselves differently after a session with me. Even the women who were initially uncomfortable in front of a camera were working it in front of my camera by the end of the day.

As a kid I always had great relationship with girls (now women) because I had conversations with them and respected them. I talked and listened (although I did more of the listening). This probably had a lot to do with my great relationship with my sister and mother.

ART PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCES FOR ALL

For those with more discretionary income I’m able to offer experiences where women get to feel like a model. All the while we’re creating beautiful art photography for her home/office walls. I’m so grateful to be able to give them such a gift. The photoshoot is entirely about them – a celebration if you will.

I recognize that not everyone can afford an $8000 luxury experience, so I separated out the photoshoot itself so that every woman could afford a meaningful experience. At an affordable price point of $475 women can still transform the way they see and feel about themselves.

EVERY WOMAN IS DESERVING

I’ve never been one to exclude anyone and that’s probably why my prices are are so wide. All the business gurus say you’ve got to pick a price point. Do you want to provide quality or quantity?

If you choose quality then you have to charge more and do less, but if you want quantity then you have charge less and do more. I choose to be inclusive and take on that hardship myself. I won’t back down on quality either.

All women should have a chance to experience something that will change the way they see themselves forever. I want to affect as much change in women as possible and I think every woman deserves a chance!
