Talk to any photographer and they’ll tell you that the dance passion and acting passion of dancers and actresses are a pleasure to photograph. If you have the former, here’s some photoshoot inspiration for you!
DANCE PASSION
Dancers understand their bodies more than us regular folk. They have the ability to control and contort in ways they would only be able to even describe, let alone do.
They also have more athleticism so they can do things that are truly amazing when captured.
If you’re an dancer you already know about your passion. Like other arts, it’s something you do because you love it.
DANCE PHOTOSHOOT
When you think of a dance photoshoot you probably think of photos inside a dance studio.
But dancers aren’t just dancers in a studio; at least from what I’ve seen of the most passionate ones. They bring their talents everywhere they go.
Why aren’t we telling your story as a dancer? I love seeing images of dancers in atypical places that let me know more about them. For example, what would you think of an image of a beautiful woman dancing on the busy streets of New York City but no one is looking at her?
Perhaps she feels like no one sees who she really is on the outside?
DIFFERENT IS GOOD
I like to be different because I get bored rather easily. I always want to create something better than before.
If you’re a dancer and you want to do a photoshoot to express your passion I truly believe that you should be telling your story too. Showing how you’re different isn’t necessarily for others, but more for yourself. When you look at those images in the future let them tell your story!
