I’ve been photographing women in the Greater Toronto Area for a while now and I just figured out the number one thing women need to look perfect in front of the camera.
If you feel like you’re not going in the direction you want and you’d like to get your life back then I’d like to introduce you to a book that helped me: Three Simple Steps by Trevor Blake. This book has given me a new take on life and is one of the reasons I’m creating beautiful artwork for regular, real women. Modern portrait photography is more than taking a pretty picture of a woman. It’s about capturing who she is. Bringing nature landscapes into portrait photography of women is something I think I do best of all. You be the judge!
Women have become inspired through online content and confident-boosting groups and they’re ready to get their magazine quality portraits taken! With body-positive groups growing in popularity and the seemingly limitless photographic talent portrayed on our ever-growing screens, it’s only logical that there’s an appeal to be captured as our most amazing selves! No longer are we limited to thinking we have to take boring “graduation” looking photos. No! We can have photos that look like they belong in a magazine; something we can be proud to display and share!
