“I’m so excited!” That’s what our portrait photography gets out of women who aren’t even comfortable in front of a camera. It’s a great feeling to bring so much excitement to a photoshoot even before it’s even begun. It doesn’t end there either; after the session our clients can’t wait to see the final results. Portrait photography is back and more exciting than ever and women can see it!
DIFFERENT IS EXCITING
There are a lot of GTA portrait and fashion photographers out there. There are also a lot of photographers who create fine art portraits.
We wondered how we could be different in the best way possible for women. How could we deliver something that would truly excite them? We came up a few big differentiating focuses:
- create an experience that starts at the moment they contact us all the way to after the artwork is revealed
- provide a cathartic and therapeutic process where they will grow the adoration (love and respect) they have for themselves
- deliver artwork that beautifies their homes and allow them to relive that excitement forever
By developing our expertise (yes, we continue to practice) in listening, communicating, and of course, photography, we are able to provide an experience like no other in the Greater Toronto Area (and beyond).
WOMEN ARE EXCITING
It’s reasonable to conclude that the more excited a photographer is to photograph you the more excited you are to be photographed.
Some photographers just don’t get that. One of the main reasons is they charge so little and it makes sense because most are entrepreneurs and haven’t learned the amount of money it really takes to grow a business.
Okay, so money is great. How do we do it? We value the experience and products we provide to women and price it as such. In turn, we only work with women who value what we deliver to them: a truly beautiful and exciting portrait photoshoot experience! This makes us happy because it allows us to continue and change even more lives!
FUTURE GOALS MAKE US HAPPY
Sooner or later we all find that money is not the root of happiness. However, we are excited to receive money for our hard work because it means we can reinvest the money in growing for even more women.
Some of our goals:
- Create events/get-togethers for women to connect at and have a great time
- Help less fortunate women in our communities (e.g. providing headshots for single mothers looking for work)
- Have our own studio where women can come by for a cup of coffee, look at some artwork, and relax (maybe even spend a day!)
These goals get us really excited to photograph more and more women because it brings us closer to building a brand for women!
CHANGING LIVES
Making women look and feel great is one of the goals of our portrait experiences; whether they’re custom portraits or our monthly-themed photoshoots. However, that’s just one part.
Having a lasting impression by helping them see how beautiful they truly are is something we strive for. We believe that every woman is beautiful. Sometimes it takes longer to get to the core of who she is, but it eventually happens. Without this deep belief it would be incredibly difficult to do what we do.
Sure, there are some women who just don’t keep up their appearance and most people will shrug them off thinking that’s the best they can be. Sometimes she just doesn’t care about what society thinks or has just gotten busy with life. It happens! We’re not saying looks are everything, but we’d be lying if we said they don’t mean anything. Of course they mean something! It doesn’t mean we value looks above character though.
We see it like this: every woman is like a diamond. Sometimes she doesn’t want to reveal herself and sometimes she wants to be revealed, but needs some help. Regardless, they are all beautiful inside.
By providing a different experience and really caring about the women we are photographing we’re able to add so much excitement to their lives and that’s a beautiful thing!
