I See so Many Beautiful Women But…

As a portrait photographer I see so many beautiful women, but it’s incredibly difficult to approach them. You may be wondering why that’s even necessary.

P.S. That’s my beautiful wife. ;)

 

REASON 1: WOMEN SHOULD HEAR IT

Whether or not you think you’re beautiful, hearing that you are is a confidence booster. I’m not saying that I’ll go around telling every woman that she is because I’d be lying.

Let me explain though. Every woman is beautiful in their own way, but it may or may not show in public. I’ve got a keener eye for these things so I can see it a bit easier than most. I certainly see it in women more than they see it in themselves.

I feel it is my duty, given the type of person I am and the direction of my photography business to tell them. Making women feel great is what I do with my portrait photography and in the experiences I create for women.

 

REASON 2: TO SERVE MORE WOMEN

Every great portrait photographer knows that women don’t often go looking for the type of photography I provide. It’s a definitely a luxury product.

Some women are super creative, artistic, or know exactly what they want. That’s why I make sure that if they’ve come far enough to my doorsteps to find a portrait photographer then I’ll blow them away with an experience they’ll never forget.

Although women have found me on their own, some have come through referrals and word of mouth. Although I am extremely grateful to them for passing along their experiences to friends and family, it would be nice to be able to find the clients too.

So what do the best portrait photographers do? We know that to succeed and continue to provide high-quality services we need to find clients ourselves. Compared to wedding couples, the market for portrait photography is much smaller. This leads to my problem.

 

THE DIFFICULT APPROACH

It is extremely difficult to approach women in public. On the other hand, it’s a much easier task for female photographers.

I’ve asked the women I’ve photographed how they would feel if I had randomly approached them instead. Keep in mind that these are women who trust me wholeheartedly. Even though they know the kind of person I am, they told me that they would find it odd.

This largely stems from men approaching women without the best intentions. If a woman came up to me and told me I was handsome I’d probably blush and think nothing else of it. However, if a man came up to a woman you’d probably think he was hitting on her.

While it’s true that my intention would be to talk to her to see if she’d ever considered being photographed, I’m sure they would immediately think I was looking to date. Even with my wedding ring on. All this being said, I’ve never approached anyone in public, no matter how much it pains me.

 

I’LL KEEP GOING

I know I’ll eventually find a way around this, but until then I’ll keep creating images that inspire and attract women.These are they types of women who are looking for a special photographer that is capable of making their dreams a reality.

It’s the only way I know how to keep getting new clients. I’ve got big plans for this business that will enhance the lives of women everywhere. I can’t share them with you though; it’s a secret!
